Lezlee at Prior Lives is hosting her monthly Prior Lives Party. I'm joining up with my book file. Certainly not an original idea, but it's new to me!
Robelyn had a tutorial on making one one her blog. I knew it would take me awhile to get at it even as simple as it is. Because, that's just how it is.
I stamped on tags to make my alphabetized tabs. I decided to stamp on both sides so you could see the letter from both angles since the file is curved. Little pieces of fibers, thread, and rick rack make me happy so, I put those on the tags too.
So, "What to file??", you may be thinking... I think letters, numbers, words, quotes, etc. that I find as I look through vintage ephemera and find little bits and pieces that I want to save for future projects.
So, that's the plan. May take a while to get to it....but in the mean time, I will enjoy the file even empty. Because the patterns and lines the book pages create are quite lovely.
Check out Robelyn's directions here to make your own. And, please be sure to check out Lezlee's party here to see what everyone else has been up to!
This weekend is the big blog party "Where Bloggers Create" and I'm joining in too. I can't wait to get a peek into every one's spaces!

Now this is cute AND clever! I can see it sitting next to my computer with my reminders stuck in - rather than all my sticky notes on the wall!

I absolutely love your file...You added just the right smidgens and bits. I wish I had my work room ready. I'm so excited to see everyone's little nook. It means so much to me for you to show up at my party with the perfect post and love your photography as well.
