I picked up these quilts and drying rack at an auction a week or so ago. The quilts are nothing spectacular but they have such a warm an homey feel to them. So, I guess I'm wrong..."homey" is pretty spectacular.
I mentioned how I see quilts in this post, so now I'm having fun with it.
I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July!
Thank you Lord for my freedom to worship You.
God bless the United States of America.
Okay - I have to go see how you see quilts, but before I go...
ReplyDeleteJill - your photos would make some GORGEOUS awesome postcards!!! LOVE what you did with them...

yes, spectacular .... and homey is as spectacular as it gets :)
ReplyDeleteHappy 7th of July too :)
I love the way you have focused on a small area of patchwork to show how truly special these keepsakes are. I'm happy for you that someone didn't want to keep them, so that someone who appreciates them could get them.
ReplyDeleteLove it Jill....we remember when we thought quilts were so old fashioned and boring....ha! how times change!! thanks for popping over today to see us ~ can't wait to see your burlap banner, it sounds like a lot of fun :)
ReplyDeleteI love these quilts and their colors!
ReplyDelete(Your banner is beautiful!)
Some of the most humble things are pretty spectacular! Your quilts are lovely. And I like your latest banner. Wouldn't it be great to have a couch sit out in all weather and still look good?
