A few times over the years, my heart has been made aware of those who suffer in silence.
I begin to type and think of all the ways that people suffer silently.
And, I kind of want to list examples of silent sufferings.
To make us aware.
To include those who may be reading and have their own silent sufferings.
But I think listing some would detract from what I want to say.
Or not listing a particular suffering may make someone out there feel even more alone.
You are not alone. No one is alone. You may suffer silently, but you are not alone.
Many suffer silently. Perhaps at some time, everyone suffers silently.
Jesus, who suffered silently, is with you.
He is light and He is with you.
And, I am praying for you.
amen
ReplyDeletePope Francis addressed just this very thing last week - and you've expressed it in your lovely photos and heartfelt words. The world right now is so full of unrest and silent suffering - and there's also way too much expressed suffering in the thousands of refugees who can't return home where they want so much to be, and now we're on the verge of a confrontation with Russia! We do need to pray in faith - Jesus hears every word and gathers every tear. God bless you and yours, dear Jill. Oremus pro invicem.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jill. Just this week I've been made aware of some silent suffering going on in the lives very near to me. Prayers are breathed and peace is sought. We are not alone. Jesus' presence is a comfort.
ReplyDeleteWell done Jill. Your images paired so well with your words. We need more people praying in this world.
